Rugs and textiles from palace collections starting from the16th century, early examples of Kumkapi and Herekes will be shown the first time. Palace collections show styles and traditions over the centuries. Design sketches will be showcased for the first time. Archives have shown many rugs and textiles gifted to European dynasties but never have we seen the actual designs. This exciting exhibit is the first time to highlight those designs.
