This luxurious silk cushion cover, 76cm by 30cm, comes in Ottoman Silks’ Saliha fabric, with a pistachio silk backing (below right). Cornucopia subscribers will receive a complimentary silk purse with each order.
Like all Ottoman Silks’ fabrics, Saliha – with its ogival repeat pattern and tulip-filled borders – is woven in Turkey. The design is based on the fabric of a child's kaftan made for a son of Murad III in the last quarter of the 16th century.
