The third Izmir Sephardic Culture Festival will be held 28 November – 6 December. A myriad of interesting tours, talks, film screenings, concerts and more will help celebrate the long history of Sephardic Jewish presence in the Izmir region.

Of particular interest are the talks at Sinyora Synagogue on 30 November on the Old Jewish District by Dr Siren Bora and on Sephardic architecture in Izmir by Prof. Dr Mine Tanaç on 2 December.

Additionally, the concert of Sephardic songs from Thessaloniki at Etz Hayim Synagogue on 4 December and the viola and piano concert in tribute to Ashkenazi heritage in Izmir by Isabelle Durin and Michaél Ertzschei are not to be missed.
