In the first half of this, the fourth of the concerts in this autumn’s ‘Bach in Istanbul’ festival, Russian pianist Konstantin Emelyanov is to play a suite by Rameau and a French Suite by Bach (details not available). In the second half, meanwhile, he is to play two keyboard concertos by Bach – No 3 in D major (BWV 1054) and No 4 in A major (BWV 1055) – accompanied by the ‘Festival Orchestra’.
