In the first half of this, the fifth and last of the concerts in this autumn’s ‘Bach in Istanbul’ festival, the French hapsichordist Pierre Hantaï is to play a selection of the 48 preludes and fugues in Bach’s The Well-Tempered Clavier (BWV 846-893). In the second half, he will play Bach’s Goldberg Variations (BWV 988).
