Bassoon’ist’, consisting of Cavit Karakoç, Berke Hitay, Mert Kutluğ and Onur Üzülmez, is a quartet of bassoonists, all of whom are members of the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Orchestra and the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra. The group, formed in 2023, are to play arrangements of works by Peter Schickele, Georges Bizet, Gordon Jacob and A. Stephenson.
