In an absolutely unmissable exhibition, their first of the year, the Leica Gallery in Bomonitada in collaboration with Fotografevi hosts the Magnum photographer Bruno Barbey.
A Magnum photographer since 1964, and chairman of the agency between 1992–95, Bruno Barbey’s My Morocco presents images from his book of the same name taken between 1970 and 2000.
Barbey was born and brought up in Morocco, spending the first twelve years of his life there, and although he would travel the world capturing legendary images of war and conflict from Northern Ireland to Cambodia, the country remained a profound source of more soothing inspiration resulting in no fewer than four books.
Combine a visit to the gallery with the new Ara Güler exhibition, Aphrodisias. Magnum writ large!
