Pianist Antonello D’Onofrio and violinist Almila Şerbetçi are to perform a programme of works by J.S. Bach (the Arioso movement from Bach’s Keyboard Concerto No 5 in F minor, BWV 1056, arr. Alfred Cortot), Domenico Scarlatti (his Sonata in E major, K 380), Joseph Haydn (his Piano Sonata in F major, Hob XVI No 23), Eugène Ysaÿe (his 2 Mazurkas de Salon, Opus 10 Nos 1 & 2), Sergei Rachmaninov (his Élégie Opus 3 No 1, his Prélude in C sharp minor, Opus 3 No 2, and his Mélodie in E major, Opus 3 No 3), Frédéric Chopin (Nos 4, 6, 7, 15, 20 and 22 from his 24 Préludes, Opus 28) and Franz Liszt (his Légende No 2, S 175).
