The 17th International Filmmor Women’s Film Festival on Wheels returns, launching in Istanbul before touring the country to Izmir, Antalya, Mersin, Giresun, Adana and Diyarbakır. The festival features 80 films from 49 directors along with a series of workshops, events and panel discussions.

In Istanbul, a highlight is an Agnes Varda Retrospective, which will be screened at the Istanbul Modern Cinema and the Caddebostan Culture Centre. The extensive programme focuses on feminist themes, women in film and gender and sexuality issues.

After its run in Istanbul, the festival will visit Izmir on April 6–7, Mersin on April 13–14, Antalya on April 20–21, Adana on April 27–28, and Diyarbakır on May 4–5.
