Ten artists contemplate the value of art and preservation in a new group exhibition at Mixer. Taking its title from a passage in Walter Benjamin’s book Passagenwerk (‘A green mold on a bronze work’s chemical analysis can be used to prove its authenticity and origin’), the artists create objects that function as an archaeological excavation of the past. The show features work from Berkay Bugdan, Bilal Yılmaz, Eda Aslan, Gökçe İrten, Giuseppe lo Schiavao, Horasan, Nergiz Yeşil, Sami Aslan, Sırma Doruk and Sinan Logie.
