This year’s theme is ‘Beyond Borders’, redefining boundaries in music and moving through our geographical boundaries. “This summer, we will explore our boundless cultural heritage with concerts featuring instruments and music from Türkiye, Greece, Iran, and Azerbaijan, all sharing similar histories and traditions. Groundbreaking performances will take us on cross-disciplinary journeys, as works spanning the Baroque, Romantic, Classical, and Contemporary periods (from the 17th to the 21st century) meet breakdance, hip-hop, yoga, painting, visualisation, and theatre. As always, the festival will take place in the city’s prestigious concert halls, most enchanting historical sites, sacred spaces, and public venues, transforming them into captivating stages.”
