The Asian-side neighbourhood of Kadiköy is having its moment in the sun. Recently crowned the ‘45th coolest neighbourhood’ in the world, there is no lack of cool cafes, interesting shops and streets begging to be explored. In terms of art, however, the gallery scene is still emerging (at least compared to the far-more-established European side galleries).
Fortunately, Luna Grande Art, established in 2019 and one of the largest galleries in the neighborhood, has been working tirelessly to showcase artists from Turkey and around the world in their mixed visual arts shows. Their next show, Coffee Breaks, will be open from 11 December (opening reception and cocktails from 16.00 to 19.00) to 18 December.
Coffee Break celebrates the opening of the cafe, Luna Grande Coffee, and Luna Grande Collective, a dedicated space for artists to present and sell their merchandise, such as weavings, ceramics, jewelry and more.
