The Hungarian pianist Mihály ‘Misi’ Boros is to play the following works: Schumann’s Kreisleriana, Opus 16; Chopin’s Fantaisie in F minor, Opus 49, and the following pieces by Liszt: Au bord d’une source from Années de pèlerinage (Première année: Suisse), S 160 No 4; Un sospiro from Trois études de concert, S 144 No 3; the Étude in A minor from Grandes études de Paganini, S 141 No 6; and La Campanella, from Grandes études de Paganini, S 141 No 3. This recital, one of those in a season of concerts featuring Liszt’s piano works, is organised with the cooperation of the Liszt Institute of the Hungarian Cultural Centre, Istanbul.
