In this recital, the Romanian duo are to perform the Méditation from the 1894 opera Thaïs by Jules Massenet (1842-1912); the Sonata No 1 in A minor for Violin and Piano from Centone di sonate, Opus 64, by Niccolò Paganini (1782-1840); the 1905 Old Viennese Dance No 3 (Schön Rosmarin) by Fritz Kreisler (1875–1962); the 1863 Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Opus 28, by Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921); and two works by Romanian composers – the Balada și Lăutarul by George Enescu (1881-1955) and the Dans Țărănesc by Constantin Dimitrescu (1847–1928).
