“Obsidian” is Devin Oktar Yalkın’s first solo exhibition in Turkey, showing parallel to the 17th Istanbul Biennal at Evin Art Gallery from October 4th – November 12th, 2022.
Yalkın, who lives in the USA, has partaken in many exhibitions and art fairs, receiving many prestigious prizes for his impactful black and white photographs. Yalkın’s works are in many collections, among them, Istanbul Modern and he has collaborated with publications such as The New York Times, Time Magazine, the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Vice and Rolling Stone.
