A three-film programme running through the spring aims to expand our understanding of social issues around the world. Hosted by Columbia Global Centers and UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub and Koç University’s Media and Visual Arts Department, each screening will be followed by a discussion of the film and its themes with filmmakers and experts.
On February 27, the film A Thousand Girls Like Me will run, followed by a discussion with the filmmaker Sahra Mani Mosawi, UNDP Gender Equality expert Bharati Sadasivam and Professor Ayşen Ufuk Sezgin.
On April 25, the programme presents the film Survivors.
On May 22, the Turkish film Saf is playing.
All screenings begin at 6:45pm.
