This is a ballet performed to the music of Franz Schubert’s 1828 song-cycle Winterreise (Winter Journey), which tells a story of unhappy love. Members of the Istanbul State Theatre and Ballet Modern Dance Company will dance while the songs are sung by baritone Kevork Tavityan, who will be accompanied by a string quartet consisting of Aslı Ceren Gürkan and Pınar Gizem Korkmaz (violins), Verda Gül (viola) and Gözde Öcal Güvemli (cello).
