The Beginning of Memory at Ark Kültür celebrates Galeri Nev Ankara’s four-decade history showcasing the work of 40 artists who have shaped its legacy. Since its founding in 1984, Galeri Nev has been instrumental in the development of contemporary Turkish art, starting with its inaugural exhibition of Abidin Dino in Turkey, a key figure in Turkish contemporary art. This anniversary show reflects both the gallery’s history and its continued relevance in the Turkish art scene.
