Elif Uras

Galata Greek Primary School / Galata Rum İlkokulu,

Featuring site-specific ceramic works, Elif Uras’ installation draws from various cultural references and explores ideas of shared heritage, hybridity and pluralism. The exhibition is accompanied by the artist’s first monograph, which elaborates on the themes of her work through essays in English and Turkish. This show is part of Galerist and Kale Group’s 2018 initiative in support of ceramics in art.
