The bookshop is a 2–5 min walk from Galatasaray Meydanı. Follow Yeniçarşı Caddesi, the street that runs parallel to Galatasaray High School and connects the meydanı to Tophane. Once you pass Robinson Crusoe on your right, Homer is one short block further. If you begin walking down the steep hill to Tophane, you’ve gone too far.

Homer is a hidden gem among the many bookshops near Galatasaray Lisesi. A place to lose hours browsing among the books with helpful, knowledgeable staff. They also run the bookshop at the Peri Kiosk (Borusan Contemporary art centre) in Rumeli Hisarı. There are also outlets at Sabancı University and Bilgi University (Santral and Kuştepe Kampüsü).
