Very central, very Central European hotel, with a recent baroque makeover, facing the new old cathedral, with everything you could need next door, including 24-hour pharmacy and mini-supermarket. Set back from the street, so perfectly quiet, apart from the occasional tram claning past. Rooms on the central block facing the cathedral are generous in size, more so than in the side wings. There is no lift, which is more eccentric than uncomfortable. Like most good Ukrainian hotels the lobby has an ATM. There is a very decent restaurant.
