A dervish lodge (tekke) in the district of Sultantepe, between the centre of Üsküdar and Kuzguncuk, on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus. The lodge was restored by the Ertegun family, and the two brothers, Nesuhi and Ahmet, founders of Atlantic Records and hugely influential in the American record industry, are buried here alongside the father Münir, who was ambassador to Washington during the war. The peaceful cemetery is hauntingly beautiful and well worth a visit. Turn up the hill from the coast road at the abandoned flour mill of Paşalimanı. The lodge is not currently open to visitors.
