A daughter’s tribute to Toğan Özbudun (1914–2008), architect by profession, but a passionate watercolourist and remarkable photographer. Toğan travelled widely across Anatolia, and was never without his watercolours. This book is richly illustrated with 140 of his literally hundreds of speedily executed works. It was published to coincide with a small exhibtion in Artrium, but it is high time a proper retrospective was staged, and one that would include his photographers. Though little know outside a small circle of admirers and family, Toğan was one of Turkey’s finest portrait photographers.
