Turkey’s first large-scale retrospective of the Serbian-born Marina Abramović, filmmaker and pioneer of performance art.
The exhibition is divided into three parts: video and photographic documentation of Marina Abramović’s iconic performances representing the artist’s 50-year career; performance projects; and a section devoted to ‘The Method’, which for Abramović is her masterpiece, putting the (participating) viewer at the heart of the performance.
